How long will my PSN ban be?

I've gotten the 8002A227 error code and I know I've been banned for hijacking an account. Some idiot gave me his login info and I changed his password so I could share the stuff he had with some friends. Yeah, sounds severe but I'm not completely to blame. Yes what I did was wrong and I should be banned but why didn't he get banned too? That's like a pretty girl giving rapists her address and expecting them to come over for tea and cookies and then leave without raping her. I think I taught him a valuable lesson. Haha that's just my opinion. Anyway, most people said this is about a 30 day ban. I tried the Sony website, I called them and got nothing, and I never received an email stating the length or reason for my ban. Anybody have experience with this? how long were you banned for? Please only reply if you have a real answer. Thanks.
