Sound surpressor for a firearm?

im wondering if i could make a surpressor useing sand and aluminum.....i would use a tube (like a pringles can (made out of metal) with a hole that connects to the barrle and another hole for the bullet to exit out of also id run a pipe from the barrel to the other hole (to keep the sand away from the moving bullet) but id drillt he center pipe full of tiny hole (needle like holes) and then cover it with fine cheese cloth to keep out the sand so if i did this it should supress the sound right? im assumeing so i know i could use alluminum and make baffles and etc ( i have schematics for that silence) thank you internet (50$ for the plans) (ive cut a commercial supressor up and sure enough it was the exact same build :P) also im 15 and dont plan on building a surpressor just wondering if it would work (its beter for me to ask it here then go out and try to build it right?) i repeat i do NOT plan to build it im just wondering how and there is NOTHING illegal about information i could write a book on how to hijack a plane yet you cant arrest me for telling how because it is freedom of the press
