3.5mm headphone to red and white rca problem HELP?

i plug my phone into my amp through this cable, it pauses by it self it skips the songs around. ive had this problem before i just dont kno what it is. ive tryed 3 cables. i worked the other 2 had this problem. anyone have any idea whats going on?
