Accidentally opened a spam email?

You cannot get infected by opening spam mail....you can only get infected if the spam mail has a link or an attachment and you open it..........if you did not open the attachment or click on the link...your fine...I get about 45 spams per day....so I know what to look for....and most of them I just delete and not even open.............
