How do I get rid of MyWebSearch as my browser?

I wound up with MyWebSearch as the browser that opens up when I click on Internet Explorer, and now when I run spyware scans they come up with "Browser Hijacker. Internet Explorer Settings Hijack". I'm guessing this has to do with some stuff I tried to download; free video games and such. But when I go into the "Computer" tab and click on "change or remove programs", I don't see it in there. Wondering how to get rid of it
