Boost Mobile no contact plans ?

For the past 6 months I have been using Boost Mobile and in July I am going to Dominican Republic for 2 months. I was thinking of canceling my phone number until I come back, but I was wondering if there is anyway I could like, I don't know, pause or freeze my account or number until I come back?
