Do you get annoyed about christians whinging about christmas?

What's the deal with all the Xmas questions around here lately? It's wearisome enough to have to deal with them during the winter. Anyhow, I grew up attending Christian schools, and we were taught in the earliest grades that Christmas was derived from earlier Pagan festivals. So the allegation that December 25 isn't really Jesus' birthday is hardly a surprise. No, "Xmas" isn't "crossing Christ out of Christmas". Yes, I'm glad to say "Happy Holidays" because I'm perfectly aware that the entire planet doesn't celebrate Christmas. Yes, the festival was an overlay with earlier pre-Christian festivals. It's just not news anymore, and hasn't been for centuries.
