My friend wants a horse?

Well my friend is wanting to get a horse, the thing is she's only ridden a horse like 3 times. At first she wanted to get a stallion! But I talked her out of it. But she still thinks she can handle the youngest of horses. I told her that I could teach her to ride, and that we could start with groundwork. But she wants to skip the whole process. How do I tell my friend what's right, I don't want her to accidentally harm a horse, or herself for that matter.
