My browser gets hijacked or error messages?

I have some kind of nasty in my computer that hijacks my browser and takes me to some random page, or for certain pages just won't let me load a page. It happens whether I use IE or Chrome, and it's only on my computer. I have run Malwarebytes, RegEasy, CCleaner, Spybot, and any other freeware you can name. Except Norton Power Eraser which will not run. It doesn't happen for every website, and usually after a few days and a few shut downs it goes away for a while. What the heck?? Does anyone have any idea what the issue is?
